tive, even at lower temperatures, and helps to
give healthier-looking, shiny, more manage-
able hair with maximum styling control.
Your best looks begin with a good haircut that’s
well maintained. Always treat hair right with
superior quality shampoos, conditioners, and
finishing products.
The Conair® ION SHINE™ 1875 Watt Styler
is very effective, even at lower temperatures,
and helps to produce healthier-looking, shin-
ing, more manageable hair.
INSTRUCTIONS
When using electrical appliances, espe-
cially when children are present, basic
safety precautions should always be followed,
including the following:
This appliance is intended for household use
only. Use on Alternating Current (60 hertz)
only. Standard Dryers are designed to operate
at 110 to 125 volts A.C.
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade
is wider than the other). As a safety feature,
this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one
way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet,
reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact
a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to de-
feat this safety feature.
CERAMIC HEAT TECHNOLOGY will keep your
hair healthy and shiny. It generates full
spectrum, infrared heat which works on hair
molecules to dry them inside & out. This dry-
ing process is gentle and quick; it minimizes
heat damage and makes hair less frizzy and
more manageable.
DRYING BASICS
Hinged
filter
Ceramic-coated grill
1. Shampoo and condition hair with products
of your choice. Rinse thoroughly. Towel blot
hair to remove excess moisture. Section hair.
2. Set your heat/speed setting to “high” (which
is part of the ionizing function), the ion gen-
erator will reduce static electricity, control frizzy
flyaways and contribute to your hair’s shine.
3. If you use the dryer with a styling brush (the
professional way to style and dry at the same
time), brush each strand from underneath as
you direct hot air to top of strand, always mov-
ing slowly and steadily up and down each strand.
This way, you’ll be aiming heat at your hair, not
at your scalp.
4. For quick touch-ups between shampoos,
mist hair to dampen it before styling with
dryer.
5. When using your dryer to create curls
and waves, dry hair almost completely on a
low temperature setting, then set your style
by pressing the cool shot button (which also
activates the ionizing function). This will help
reduce static again and shine hair for a per-
fect finish.

of negative ions that can:
• neutralize the generally positive charge
on flyaway, frizzy hair
• eliminate static electricity
